Anne Marie Vincent Arthur En Danger Samenvatting
Site is currently under maintenance. New commentniing and some formatting not yet complete, but we hope to have that done soon.
Please note that this is not an exhaustive bibliography, merely a list of books which I’ve read and found interesting. This list may be out of date.
I very much encourage everyone to contribute books and magazines that they have found useful, or books that have found useful to them.
I’m always looking for new suggestions! If you find any other relevant books which you think I should add, please let me know.
I’m currently writing a book on critical thinking, and in preparation I’m writing a couple of papers on the history of ideas, how certain thinking traditions have evolved, how people use ideas, the place of ideas in society, and so on. Feel free to contact me if you’re interested.
This is a (long) list of books I’ve read that I think are particularly interesting.
I do not plan to continue updating this bibliography, as there is a danger that it will become unmanageable. But please feel free to contribute your own comments and books! I very much value all contributions!
Suggestions for additions to the list are also very welcome.
This is a list of ‘books that I have read over the past few years and which have been particularly useful to me.’
I would like to think that I have a fairly wide range of intellectual interests, but in a nutshell I might say that I am interested in philosophy, cognitive science, psychology, music, politics, linguistics, history, philosophy of history, history, international relations, international politics, development studies, economic policy, and the like.
In this list I have included some books which discuss how and why people make judgments, what makes people ‘think like this or that’, what leads people to’show a bias’, how we can examine how ideas are formed, and all kinds of cognitive phenomena.
In this sense, it is a ‘bibliography of books that I have read that I think are particularly interesting’.
Any comments or suggestions are very welcome.
This is a list of books that I have read, and that I think are particularly interesting for the history of ideas and philosophy of science.
Please do add comments and suggestions for additions!
If you would like to make changes to this list, contact me. If you would like to add your own comment about a book, you can send me an email. If you
