there are two main ways of following solidsworks updates (though i’d definitely advise against the second one). first, you can download and install the latest release and follow the online tutorials available. or, second, there is the solidworks community if you want to give solidworks a try and see if it’s what you’re looking for.

if you’re confident that the current release is the right one for you, or if you’re experienced and know the ins and outs of solidworks fairly well, then you might want to consider being a part of the community. after all, not only can you make your own content, but you can also help with other members’ projects. this gives you a great chance to try out new features and see them in action.
